Now, for my PhD, I’m looking into the effects of tACS and would like to use SimNIBS for this as well. When reading the paper of Saturnino et al. (2017); “How to target inter-regional phase synchronisation with dual-site tACS” I saw that it was possible to simulate the induced electrical field from a center-surround montage. This is the same montage that I’m using but I can’t seem to find how to create the open, outer rings. I’m stuck with two outer electrodes at each location, both without an opening (see attachment). I contacted drs. Saturnino regarding this but he mentioned I should rather contact you instead.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Is there a option in the GUI to enable this or are there any forums that share scripts to do so? <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thank you for the amazing software, it is truly useful for my research!</p><p class=MsoNormal>With kind regards</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><div><p style='line-height:16.8pt;background:white;vertical-align:top'><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"inherit",serif;color:#E73B2B;border:none windowtext 1.0pt;padding:0cm'>Sybren Van Hoornweder </span></b><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black'><br>PhD student<br><br><br></span><span style='color:black'><a href="https://www.uhasselt.be/" target="_blank"><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"inherit",serif;color:#E73B2B;border:none windowtext 1.0pt;padding:0cm;text-decoration:none'>www.uhasselt.be</span></a></span><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black'><br>Universiteit Hasselt - Campus Diepenbeek<br>Agoralaan Gebouw A - B-3590 Diepenbeek<br>Kantoor Kantoor A1.04<o:p></o:p></span></p><p style='line-height:16.8pt;background:white;vertical-align:top'><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black'><img border=0 width=250 height=59 style='width:2.6in;height:.6166in' id="Afbeelding_x0020_3" src="cid:image001.jpg@01D697E7.58B08010"></span><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black'><o:p></o:p></span></p></div><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
